The Opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Designing Audio Visual Systems from both project briefs and technical specifications to meet customer requirements.
  • Interface and maintain ongoing dialogue for projects with relevant stakeholders.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the sales team to devise effective and creative solutions for clients.
  • Provide documentation for quotes and tender packages detailing equipment, installation estimates, pre-installation requirements and site survey results.
  • Develop detailed BOMs.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technology.
  • Attending meeting with the sales team acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Engagement with clients and interpretation of their needs.
  • Preparation of system schematic diagrams including cable schedules and room layouts.
  • Provide technical support to the sales and delivery team with system design and product functionality.
  • Deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and provide support at external and internal customer facing events.
  • Compare competitive products to specify the most advantageous solutions for clients.
  • Taking a leading role in specifying technical solutions, writing proposals and tender responses
  • Help maintain Integrate AV’s credibility and client/sales satisfaction by developing trusted relationships with customer stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide onsite commissioning at the completion of a project for more complex and cutting-edge installations.
  • Technical writing of project documentation including quality and commissioning procedures, operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Document management for system drawings and project correspondence.


Requirements

  • 5 years + proven experience in Audio Visual environments
  • Unified Communications experience (an advantage)
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills, including ability to explain and present technical solutions, including Proposal and Tender writing experience
  • Excellent relationship-building and engendering skills with an affinity to both sales and technology delivery functions
  • A proven track record in audio visual systems engineering and control system commissioning
  • Understanding of dependencies and project planning for audio visual projects
  • Understanding of current Audio Visual and IT industry sourcing models
  • Strong experience in building solutions, and ability to tailor proposal or presentation for given scenario
  • Be based in Sydney with occasional travel throughout Australia
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Self driven with good time management and prioritising skills.
  • Strong team player.
